Hi!

I’m Miss L and welcome to my blog, charting my journey as I move from being a Primary School Teacher and MA student in beautiful Yorkshire, to an Elementary School Teacher in the USA.  It’s going to be a life-changing journey!

I’ve been a Primary School teacher for four years and am soon to embark on my biggest adventure yet as I up sticks and move, all on my own, from my home town in Northern England to a whole new job, life and home in the USA. I’ll be sharing every step of my very own American dream – the highs and lows and all the learning curves along the way.  Here I’ll record my journey from hometown to new town, my teaching stories and ideas, what I learn about making the move across the ocean and everything else I discover about being a teacher, being a traveller and being me.
